In this basket are the old silver items that need to be recycled. The owner is washing any dirt off the items prior to the melting process. There must not be any dirt mixed with the new melting.
I even had old silver cutlery that were family heirlooms, but not wanted.
Here he is pouring the scrap items in the blazing "HOT FURNACE".
After a prepared amount of time, he will pour out the hot ingot into a cool bucket of water.
After further cooling, he will give me this ingot, then I will give this to my ring-caster to make NEWER DEMO-RINGS. No heating on the charcoal block is sufficient for any melting, why? There very well could be lumps of dirt mixed in and my caster won't use it in this state.
