SHARED CLAWS, with photos.

 This essay is only about mini-sized claws (prongs) that are holding gemstones in place. There is no Pave' setting in what is shown in this essay.

 Instead of the Channel Setting as shown below, I'll be showing you the "2claw/prong setting" technique.  


 The mini-claw holds the stones with more security and without any setting problems.
 
 You can use this setting technique on any jewellery item, just as long as the 2 claws are used. Another name could be "shared claw settings".

 Here is a top view using the "shared claw principle".





 I feel more confident with these little claws instead of the hammering processes. I can make 100% sure that the stones will stay secure and not get loosened with wearing the item.

 
  Here is the "Channel Setting' technique, but hammer-setting could be used instead of these mini-claws. The choice is yours!
