MY own "Guinness World Record" disk => 10 photos

As this 'gambling (ornament) disk' had a metal weight (in gold) of 132 grams. By no means was this a lightweight piece of a casino gift.
                                   ===================
 I added many sprues just to allow the wax to flow throughout the many recesses.

  All through the waxing process, the wax heating pen collected a continuous amount of melted wax on the tip. I continued to burn this wax off by heating the pen tip, and in moments, the pen tip will 'self-clean'.

  I avoided joining the wax sprue to the outside of the claw setting. My only decision was to join the sprue to the disk. This was to melt the wax mini-rod to the inside where no claws were needed.

   You can now see where the sprues are connecting. Even at the two junction spots, I had to ensure that the flow of metal would join everywhere.

 I melted the 'outer disk' sprue only as a temporary manoeuvre until all of the connecting sprues are secured.
 Then I gingerly cut off the sprue where the claws were. You can see that the sprue was joined INSIDE OF THE DOUBLE WALLS.

  The following photos are self-explanatory of the many variations of the "Guinness World Record".
 I will write a new essay with all of the pertinent information on the sizes and weights of the diamonds. What a legacy for my children to know what their Dad made and achieved.
