Engagement Rings with designs & names. =>16 photos

 These 16 designs of Engagement rings are well known within our jewellery community. Other countries may have different patterns, but these are the most common within North America.
         =================================
 This pattern is aptly named "Bar Setting", where each diamond is set within a shared bar. '

  This ring is named a "Bezel-ring", the complete stone is set within a 'full bezel'. It gives full protection to the 'Emerald Cut' diamond.

 This Engagement ring is named a "Cathedral Setting".

The name for this design is "Channel-Set", as there are a series of mini claws holding the shoulder stones.

 This cluster ring is aptly named "Cluster Setting". Here, you can observe a vast array of smaller stones, which makes the smaller centre diamond look large.

 The next ring on our list is an "Eternity Ring". All of the diamonds must be of the same size, colour and quality.

 This is a 'Flush Setting' as the diamond must be set flush with the surface of the metal.

 For obvious reasons, this ring is named a 'Halo ring'. When completed, the circle (halo) of diamonds will make the centre stone look larger.

   This pattern is named the "Infinity Engagement" ring.

  This design is named "Pave-Set" as the numerous stones are placed in close proximity to each other.

 For a basic style of engagement ring, here is the "Solitaire".
 Here is a novel design featuring no large claws, no mini claws, but using a very tight-fitting spring action. This pattern is only available in white gold, as it effectively secures the stone.

 I like this design as it appears that there are two hands holding the stone tight.

   This pattern uses 6 claws to hold 3 claws. The technique is named 'shared claws', where two claws are shared to hold one stone.

 The name for this simple ring is "Tiffany". It comes in a '6-claw' head.

 For the 'antique aficionados', the name of this ring is aptly named 'Vintage-style'.
