Cleaning a Baguette ring => 5 photos

  We have delved into setting of a baguette ring in previous essays, how about the cleaning processes?

================================

1) In using a wide #2 Barret file, file the ends of these end-bezels together. This file should be used in this configuration.

2) You can now see the angles of the bezels being shaped.

3) After the metal shaping has been completed, now comes the Pumice Wheel smoothing. This 'Pumice Wheel' should be of a #180 grit with a Flat edge.

4) The final Pumice Wheel MUST BE WITH A #1,000 grit.
 DO NOT USE A CLOTH POLISHING WHEEL. Those wheels will destroy any semblance of order with all of the exacting ring edges.

 5) In using a Tapered #1,000 grit Pumice Wheel, ensure that all of the ring edges are smooth to the touch.
 If there are any rough edges anywhere on the ring, get rid of them before proceeding further.
